Patna: Senior BJP leader Union Minister Giriraj Singh says, "LJP President Chirag Paswan's role was not understood in Bihar Assembly Election". Recently he said, 'LJP has caused damage to JDU as well as BJP and NDA. In the entire election, he not only saved Tejashwi but also did not speak against the Congress.

In an interview given to a TV channel, the Union Minister said, 'Behind Nitish Kumar as CM, Bihar has to be liberated from Lalu Raj and Jungle Raj. The NDA has appointed Nitish Kumar as the CM to ensure good governance in the state. Under his leadership, Bihar will further touch new heights of development. If CM Nitish Kumar did not forget in the year 2015, RJD would not have known about it today. The RJD managed to get 75 seats, yet it got less than 80 seats last time.'

On the question of getting challenged by young Tejashwi said that more experience and vision than age is necessary. He also said, 'When Nitish Kumar became CM for seven days in the year 2000, at that time BJP had 67 seats and Nitish Kumar's party had 37 seats'. He further said on the question of becoming a minister that his formula is pre-decided and the central leadership will take a decision on it. Further repeating the slogan of 'If Modi is there, it is possible' and said that 'The victory in the Bihar elections and by-elections in many states of the country is still a struggle, the next turn is of West Bengal.'
