Begusarai: Union Minister Giriraj Singh has attacked the tweet on the statement of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi at the Congress' 'Bharat Bachao Rally' on Saturday at Ramlila Maidan in the country's capital, Delhi. Giriraj Singh tweeted that Gandhi's surname is only a loan. In 'Bharat Bachao Rally', on apologizing to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for Rape in India statement,  MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat, Rahul Gandhi had said, 'My name is not Rahul Savarkar, I will never apologize.'

After this, Union Minister Giriraj Singh tweeted that 'Veer Savarkar was a true patriot ... By taking the surname of credit there is no Gandhi, no one becomes a patriot ... ' Along with this, Giriraj Singh has also posted photos of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul, and Priyanka Vadra.

Rahul Gandhi had lodged a protest on Saturday at Ramlila Maidan in a stern refusal to apologize. He said, "These people say sorry. My name is not Rahul Savarkar, it is Rahul Gandhi. I will never apologize for speaking the truth. I will die, but I will not apologize." Congress workers also showed tremendous enthusiasm on Rahul's statement.
