Lucknow: A girl died on the spot after being struck by lightning during rains in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi. At the same time, his sister and another old man have been badly burnt. After getting information about the incident, a revenue man came to the spot and investigated. At the same time, the police sent the body for post-mortem. The case is of Sarwanpur village under the Asandra police station area.

Asaram Rawat, a resident of Sarwanpur Majre Motikpur village under the Asandra police station area, has a kutcha house in the village and got a government colony, so he got the house constructed in the field. During the rains on Thursday, Asaram's daughters Reema Rawat (19) and Nancy Rawat (17) had gone to the field to remove stray cattle. Meanwhile, when it started raining heavily, the two sisters ran towards their house in the field. Younger sister Nancy entered the verandah of the house built in the field.

At the same time, his sister Reema had reached near the verandah, in the meantime, lightning fell from the sky with a loud sound. When lightning fell directly on Reema, she screamed and fell down. Reema's sister Nancy and Satyanarayan Rawat, son of Dashrath, who was sitting on the scaffolding to guard the field nearby, were also badly burnt due to lightning. Hearing Nancy's screams, the villagers arrived and saw Rima lying in the field. When the villagers saw, Reema had lost her life. Reema's sisters Nancy and Satyanarayana have been sent to CHC Hospital for treatment.
