Mumbai: A tragic incident has happened in Thane, Maharashtra. Here a 15-year-old boy has committed suicide by jumping from the 23rd floor of the building. The incident is being reported at 2 am on the intervening night of Thursday-Friday. Residents of the building had heard a loud sound at night. When he came out, he saw that the body of the child was lying on the ground. After which the incident was immediately reported to the police. Police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. Why did the child commit suicide? At present, the concrete reason for this has not been revealed.

Actually, the incident is from Vartak Nagar area of Thane. A 15-year-old boy jumped from the 23rd floor of the multi-storey building here and lost his life. The incident was reported to the police. The police who reached the spot were told by the people of the building that a loud sound was heard at 2 o'clock in the night. When he saw the body of the child lying on the ground. A case of accidental death has been registered and further investigation is underway, police said.

The boy's class 10 board result was recently out. He had scored 92 per cent marks. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHSE) declared the results on June 2. A total of 93.83 per cent students have passed the exam.
