New Delhi: In view of the corona cases all over the world, the Union Health Ministry has issued a revised guideline for international travellers. These guidelines will come into effect from February 14. According to the new rules, passengers will now have the option to upload vaccination certificates in addition to uploading RT-PCR negative reports. Demarcations imposed on 'risky' and other designated countries have been removed.

This means that now the passengers coming from these countries will not have to wait until the report comes by giving corona samples. The government has now recommended 14-day self-monitoring when it comes to India. At the same time, the mandatory home-quarantine rule of seven days has been removed. The Health Ministry said that in addition to uploading the negative RT-PCR report, there will now be an option to upload the full vaccination certificate of COVID-19 vaccination provided from countries all over the world on a reciprocal basis.

The Health Ministry has said that the need to conduct an RT-PCR test on the eighth day of arrival in India and upload it on the Air Suvidha portal has also been done away with. On arrival in India, random sampling of 2% of international passengers from all countries will be done. Passengers can give their samples to the airport during this time. Rules have been made all over the world regarding travel in the wake of Corona. In many countries, only fully vaccinated people are being allowed to travel. At the same time, in many places, unvaccinated entry is not being given.
