Jammu: In view of the ever-increasing tension on the border, the possibility of infiltration and possible opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act in the Kashmir Valley, the security forces are devising a new strategy. For this, preparations have been made to make the internal security system round-the-clock. Under which the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has ordered all officers of the rank of Commandant and above posted in Jammu and Kashmir to immediately join duty at their deployment site. The CRPF has clearly stated that excuses such as cancellation of rail or air flight will not be accepted. CRPF has said that these orders will remain in force for the next several months.

According to the information received, it has been learned that the CRPF along with the army in Jammu and Kashmir is taking care of the law and security system in the interior areas. Peaceful protests are still taking place in Jammu and Kashmir on the issue of Citizenship Amendment Bill, but security agencies are on alert in view of possible protests in Kashmir on this issue.
