DEWAS: The International Association of Krishna Consciousness Dewas (ISKCON Dewas) will conduct a spiritual and massive Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath today, July 8. It will begin at Sayaji Gate at noon and end at Mandi Dharamshala at 7 o'clock after travelling past MG Road, Tehsil Square, Navelti Square, and Subhash Chowk. There will be an arrangement of kirtan and cultural presentations along with food offerings for the devotees.
It will start at noon from Sayaji Gate and would pass through MG Road, Tehsil Square, Navelti Square and Subhash Chowk before culminating at Mandi Dharamshala at 7 pm. ISKCON Dewas chief Radhika Raman Das Prabhu has requested the residents and devotees of Dewas to participate in large numbers and make it successful. Prabhat Pheri and Nagar Hari Naam Sankirtan will also be organised, informed Ajay Agarwal.
Yesterday, ISKCON Nagpur Kendra Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple took out Rath Yatra on the lines of Jagannath Puri in the presence of Srila Loknath Swami Maharaj. Huge number of devotees participated in the Rath Yatra. It is believed that whoever participates in the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and pulls his chariot with his own hands receives immense blessings from the Lord.
