The Sun is full of mysteries. On 3 April 2022, a filament of plasma was formed. This filament was very grand, deep and powerful. It is throwing out a solar wind rich in magnetic power. Due to which continuous auroras are being formed at the poles of the earth. The surprising thing is that this filament was 20 thousand kilometers deep. Its length was 2 lakh km. Scientists have named it the 'Canyon of Fire'. This was also confirmed by the IMD of England. He said that two large filaments have been seen forming in the south-central region of the sun. Satellites moving in the ultraviolet part of space and telescopes on the ground have also taken photos of the electromagnetic spectrum. This spectrum was caused by the formation of filaments. This is the reason for the explosion.
The first filament on the same sun was formed on 3 April and the second on 4 April 2022. Both eruptions were followed by coronal mass ejections (CMEs). The charged plasma waves emanated from the Sun's outer atmosphere and came towards Earth. When a CME collides with the Earth's magnetic field, it generates a geomagnetic storm. Similarly, if a geomagnetic storm is more powerful, it disrupts satellite links. May cause damage to instruments and electronics moving in Earth's orbit. It can even disrupt the electricity service on earth. The Northern Lights are formed by this storm coming over the atmosphere.
Due to the CME that came out on 3rd and 4th April, the effect of Geomagnetic storm can be seen on Earth on 7th and 8th April. These storms can be of G1 and G2 level. However, it is also not determined whether the solar storm that came out on April 4 will reach the Earth or not. But light of rainbow colors can be seen at both the poles. Because the atmospheric layer at the poles is thinner. According to the UK Meteorological Department, Earth's geomagnetic atmosphere will remain calm over the next few days. But the problem can arise due to the explosions on the spots from the sun. Because at this time the earth is in such a condition that whenever a solar storm comes, it remains in front of the sun.
