Pathankot: Unidentified bikers attacked the city's military area Triveni Gate with a grenade at around 1 am last night. No loss has been reported in the case. However, police have issued an alert across the district. All the top police officers including SSP Pathankot Surinder Lamba reached the spot. Efforts are being made to extract clues from CCTV cameras installed around the military area.

It is found that motorcycle riders attacked the Triveni gate of the Army on the way to Dheera from Kathwala bridge in Pathankot with a grenade at 1 Am on Sunday. There was a loud explosion. However, the soldiers posted at the gate were at a distance. So, nobody was harmed. Even the army officials are not able to say where the bikers who threw the grenades came from and where they went.

Police officials rushed to the spot as soon as the blast was reported. SSP himself rushed to the spot and inquired about the situation. Police are scanning footage CCTV nearby. Moreover, police have issued a red alert across the district. A team of police officers has also been deployed at the noses.
