Ahmedabad: An elderly couple accused of having a illicit relationship with their cousin on former Team India cricketer Irfan Pathan has been booked for FIR at Vejalpur police station in Ahmedabad. The couple had released a video of themselves a few days ago saying that the police were not hearing a complaint against Irfan Pathan. Instead, they are the ones who are being harassed. So, he is in a state of suicide.

According to media reports, a case of threatening suicide has been registered against Syed Ibrahim and his wife at Vejalpur police station. In his video, an elderly man named Syed Ibrahim had said, "My name is Syed Ibrahim. My daughter in-law has an ongoing relationship with cricketer Irfan Pathan. She sleeps with him and she narrates all this to us. We even gave recordings in the police but we are not heard".

The elderly man had accused Irfan Pathan of that "Irfan puts pressure on senior officials. Today, we are in such a situation that we want to do it. In the video, the elderly woman can be heard saying that even when her daughter-in-law was at her house, she was harassed and the same is still being done to her".
