Gupkar Alliance Hits Out at Centre Over Land Laws, Says its Aim is to Change 'Demography' of Kashmir

New Delhi: Local parties are opposing changes in the law made by the Modi government of the Center to buy land in Jammu and Kashmir. On Tuesday, a coalition formed under a secret agreement, issued a statement on the issue and accused the central government of lying. The statement said that the new law passed by the Center is completely unconstitutional and harmful for the state.

The statement said that the law passed on Jammu and Kashmir is non-democratic and there is a direct attack on the people of the valley. With this, it has been claimed that due to previous laws, no farmer used to commit suicide in Jammu and Kashmir, but now after the new law, its risk has started increasing. Let us tell you that recently a new law has been passed by the Central Government on the issue of buying land in Jammu and Kashmir. Under which any citizen of the country can buy land in Jammu and Kashmir, although some terms and conditions have also been kept in it.

Let us tell you that several parties including the National Conference, PDP have formed an alliance under the secret agreement. Who are continuously opposing the law of the land brought by the Center. In the past, a protest was also organized on behalf of PDP and National Conference against this law.
