Gurugram: The girl and her mother, who demanded Rs 50 lakh to withdraw the rape case, have been arrested by the police. It is alleged that the girl had said that she would withdraw the case, but for this, the accused will have to pay Rs 50 lakh. The rape accused's brother had filed a petition at the Sector 51 women's police station. In this case, the Gurugram police took action and arrested the girl from Bhiwani while her mother was arrested from Sector 47.

At the same time, a false allegation of rape and a case of recovery has been revealed. According to the police, one lakh eight thousand rupees of the recovery amount has also been recovered from the girl's mother. According to the information, the victim's brother had lodged a complaint with the Women's Police Station in Sector 51 that a false case of rape has been lodged against his brother on behalf of the girl. The girl, along with her mother and other accomplices, is demanding Rs 50 lakh to withdraw the case.  

When the rape accused declared himself unable to pay such a huge amount, the girl, her mother and others secured the deal for Rs 30 lakh in instalments. On June 19, the victim was to pay one lakh 10 thousand rupees at a restaurant in Sector-47/49. This was reported to the police station on behalf of the victim. The police then formed a raiding team, after which the numbers of the notes to be given were noted down and the victim was sent to the girl's mother.  

After giving two thousand rupees at the restaurant counter, the complainant gave a total of one lakh eight thousand rupees to the girl's mother. During this time, the raiding team of the police caught the woman red-handed. A case under sections 384, and 120B has been registered in this regard and further action is being taken. At the same time, on the identity of the woman, her daughter was arrested from Bhiwani. The search for the other accused involved in the case is on.
