Chennai: The tussle between the ruling DMK and Governor RN Ravi is increasing in Tamil Nadu. Now, organization secretary RS Bharti said that if former chief minister Jayalalithaa had been alive, he would not have been able to get out without being beaten. Recently, in his recent speech, he indirectly compared the governor to migrant laborers from Bihar, who sell panipuri in Tamil Nadu. He then claimed that the job of a governor is no different from that of a worker who cleans banana leaves after a feast. He does not have the right to give his opinion during the assembly speech.

The organization secretary RS Bharathi said that if he had done this during Jayalalithaa's tenure, the governor would have had to suffer. He said, "I am not boasting, but if Jayalalithaa had been alive, the governor would not have escaped without being beaten." At the same time, RS Bharti had claimed that if DMK Minister Shekhar Babu had known that the Governor would work like this, things would have been different. He had recently said that if the Chief Minister wanted, the Speaker would have removed the Governor from the Assembly by asking the Marshal. When asked about this statement, RS Bharti said, "We have many Shekhar Babus, who are under the control of Chief Minister MK Stalin. It is enough to point with his eyes, he could not go home."

On January 10, the Tamil Nadu government said that the governor should read only the address prepared by the state government to address the Assembly. There is no room for their personal views or objections. The government said that under Article 176 of the Constitution, the Governor's address on the first day of the first assembly session of the year is to tell about the policies, schemes, and successes of the state government. It may be noted that a day earlier, on January 9, Governor RN Ravi did not read part of his address. Apart from this, he also made some comments, after which, the Chief Minister moved a resolution against what was said other than the written speech.
