Jamui: A speeding Scorpio hit a motorcyclist on Jamui-Sikandra road in Bihar. He died on the spot. The collision was so dangerous that the young man jumped 30 feet and fell away. Another youth riding a motorcycle was seriously injured. The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed there.

According to the news received, the young man's sister was to be married. He was going back home after buying goods from the market. During this, the high-speed Scorpio hit him. Thereafter, the Scorpio driver fled from the other route. The driver and the vehicle are yet to be identified.  

After the incident, the injured youth has been admitted to a private clinic with the help of locals. The condition of the young man remains critical. As soon as the news of the young man's death was heard, there was chaos in the village. No one was in a position to say anything. As soon as the body of the deceased reached the village, a crowd of people gathered outside the house and the atmosphere of the wedding turned into grief. The deceased has been identified as Ajit Kumar, son of Rajendra Mandal, a resident of Lohara village under the Nagar police station area, and the injured youth has been identified as Chhotu Thakur, son of Bhola Thakur.
