Suresh Oberoi, the legendary Bollywood actor, is still in the spotlight for his performance in today's times. Suresh Oberoi, an actor, celebrating his birthday today. So, on this wonderful occasion of his birthday, let us relive some of the highlights of his life.

Suresh Oberoi was born on this day  17th December 1946 in Quetta, British India (now in Pakistan) in the 'Vishal Kumar Oberoi' Hindu Khatri family.  After the partition of India, father Anand Sarup came to Hyderabad via Amritsar with Oberoi and mother Kartar Devi. Let us tell you that Suresh Oberoi is married to Yashodhara, who was about eight years younger than him.  Suresh is the father of a son and daughter, Suresh's son Vivek Oberoi is a Bollywood actor and daughter Meghna Oberoi. Suresh started her career with a radio show, after which he modelled and then gained a distinct identity from her best actor in the world of movies. Apart from this, he has also played the role of a sutradhar several times in one of the programmes and movies, including Ashoka (2001), Zee TV programme 'Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai'.
 
Suresh made his debut in Hindi cinema In 1977, he once again got the opportunity to play the lead role in the movie Jeevan Mukta Rakha in the year 1980. However, as the lead role, his movie was a blockbuster.  After which he worked in many other movies. Suresh made his mark as a character actor in Hindi cinema.  He has also been honoured with several awards for his outstanding work.  Suresh was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor Award for the film 'Lavaris' in 1982. After which he was also nominated for Filmfare best-supporting actor for 'Ghar Ek Mandir' in 1985.  Suresh was awarded the National Film Award for the movie 'Mirch Masala' in 1987.
