Former Indian batsman Ajay Jadeja celebrates his 52 nd birthday today, February 1.  Jadeja, who was known for his batting and fielding strength, is making the most of his time after retirement with his family and friends.  Ajaysinhji "Ajay" Jadeja, is a former India cricketer, who had been a regular member in the Indian cricket team between 1992 and 2000. He played 15 Test matches and 196 One Day Internationals for India.

His cricket accomplishments were overshadowed by a 5-year match-fixing suspension. On January 27, 2003, the Delhi High Court overturned the ban, restoring Jadeja's eligibility to play both domestic and international cricket. He was well known for his hitting and expeditious over-ending in the late 1990s.

Jadeja was born into a former Nawanagar royal family with a strong history in cricket. In addition to K. S. Duleepsinhji, after whom the Duleep Trophy is called, he is related to K. S. Ranjitsinhji, for whom the Ranji Trophy is named. Jadeja is wed to Aditi Jaitly, Jaya Jaitly's daughter, and they have two kids together, Aiman and Ameera.

\Jadeja was hired as the primary coach of the Delhi cricket team in 2015, but he later left the position. Currently, Jadeja is a cricket commentator. In the 2003 film Khel, Sunny Deol and Sunil Shetty costarred with Jadeja. He performed in the 2009 V.K. Kumar film Pal Pal Dil Ke Ssaat.

During the 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup, Jadeja and former Pakistani cricket captain Zaheer Abbas served as cricket anchors for Zee News. For the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2007, he played the part once more. Later, he agreed to work for NDTV India and NDTV 24*7 as a cricket analyst.

In its inaugural season, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa featured Jadeja as a participant. He additionally had an appearance on Comedy Circus. He appeared as himself in the role of a cricket pundit in Abhishek Kapoor's movie Kai Po Che!
