Today is birth anniversary of Superstar Dev Anand who ruled the hearts of his fans. Bollywood superstar actor Dev Anand lived his life on his own terms, making it a smoke and a blow to life. Dev Anand, the incredible product of Indian cinema, may not exist among us but on the basis of his talent and perseverance, his act became a source of inspiration for generations to come. Dev Anand started his film career with the black and white film Ek Hum, which had his heroine Suraiya. Dev Saheb's film career lasted for more than six decades. Dev Anand, who was born on September 26, 1923 in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, had his childhood name Devdutt Pishorimal Anand and was leaning towards acting since his childhood.

His father was a lawyer by profession. Dev Anand had completed his graduation in English literature from the famous Government College in Lahore. Dev Anand wanted to read even further, but he quit because of the trouble of paso. That's where he and Bollywood's journey started. To realize his dreams in 1943 when he arrived in Mumbai. Dev Anand rented a room at a cheap hotel near the railway station in Mumbai.

Where he was accompanied by three others who, like him, were struggling to make their identity in the film industry. He had a clerical job at the military censor office, where he had to read the letters of the soldiers to his family. In his career, films like Guide, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Johnny Mera Naam and many more.
