Talking to the media, Mandira Bedi had revealed that due to working in the film industry, she avoided being a mother for almost 12 years. She told, 'At the age of 20, I was making my place in the entertainment world. At 30, I started feeling insecure, and now at the age of 40, I feel very good'
On the question of becoming a mother after 12 years, Mandira Bedi said, 'I gave birth to a son in 2011, when I was 39 years old. My contracts did not allow me to become pregnant. I used to fear that if I became pregnant, my career would end. The entertainment world is very bad. I could not do this without my husband's permission. It is because of him that our marriage has been successful. Be aware that Mandira Bedi married director Raj Kaushal in the year 1999. According to media reports, in the interview itself, Mandira Bedi said that the journey of women in the world of entertainment is not much longer. She said "I think that my work can stop anytime. I have a feeling of insecurity when I see an actor who works more than me on movies and TV".
