Kanpur: Hardoi Collector Avinash Kumar has been found COVID19 positive. After the initial symptoms, he conducted the test. He has been found positive in the report on Thursday. Collector Avinash Kumar had quarantined himself on Wednesday. The collector is quarantined in government accommodation. All those who have come in contact with him will be tested for coronavirus.

On the other hand, the Indian Council of Medical Research has completed the first trial in the treatment of COVID-19 patients. It is expressed that plasma therapy is a support for the treatment of COVID-19, although the final result is the same. It requires medication. The number of people recovered with the help of plasma therapy is the same as the number of people recovered without therapy. 

The difference that plasma therapy made that patients recovered quickly and the didn't require oxygen support after a few days of the treatment. In the entire country, ICMR had included 436 COVID-19 infections in the trial. Of these, 235 were given plasma therapy, and 229 were placed on drugs. The death figure in both categories has been the same. Dr Lubna Khan, nodal for blood transfusion department, GVM Medical College, said that plasma is obviously effective. This is a great achievement.
