Harish Rawat, in his Facebook post, said, "We are responsible for the Congress party's defeat and organizational weakness in the Lok Sabha elections. In Assam, I am responsible as in-charge for not being able to perform at the level required by the party. I have already resigned from the post of General Minister, acknowledging my deficiency. Working with a dedicated attitude to the party does not require a position for the people in my position, but a leader who inspires is necessary. '

Harish Rawat has further stated that "The motivation potential is only in Mr. Rahul Gandhiji, with the reins in his hands, so it is possible that we can change the present situation in the elections in the states in 2022 and the BJP (BJP) and Shri Narendra Modi in 2024.
