Chandigarh: Statements of many veteran leaders have come out regarding the violence on the occasion of Republic Day in the national capital Delhi. In this sequence, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar reacted that the incident at the Red Fort is highly condemnable. Simultaneously, CM Khattar has urged the farmers to return to their homes after the tragic incident of 26 January. This statement of CM Manohar Lal Khattar came after a special meeting of Haryana Cabinet held on Wednesday night.

Farmers took out a tractor parade to protest against the new agricultural laws on Tuesday, which became violent on sight. Hundreds of farmers broke into police barricades with the intention of entering Delhi and hoisted their flag at the Red Fort. During this time, many people have also been injured on both sides in the violence with the police. Condemning the rise of the farmers, CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that the farmer movement has now lost its direction, it has been out of control of the farmer leaders.

After a special meeting of the Haryana Cabinet held on Wednesday, CM Khattar said, 'No Indian will tolerate the hoisting of any other flag other than the national flag at the Red Fort. This act is an insult to those who sacrificed their lives for the independence of this country. Our freedom fighters did not give us the freedom to spread such chaos.'
