Amidst the Corona havoc, Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal has said that the government is taking steps keeping in mind the interests of the parents of the students. No one will be discriminated against. To prevent the spread of Covid-19, all schools in the state also had to be closed due to lockdown across the country. To continue the education of students, the government has started online education.

In view of the changed economic conditions, the government has instructed private schools not to increase fees, change textbooks and uniforms. Not only this, on expressing concern about the fees of parents, the government has instructed private schools not to take building funds, maintenance funds, entrance fees, computers, transport fees etc. but take tuition fees only on monthly basis.

In his statement, he said that if a parent is currently unable to pay the fees, then he can request the school administration to give the fee in instalments in writing. Government and private schools have been allowed to open their offices so that textbook distribution, etc. can be done.
