All the people coming from nearby areas to work in many cities of Haryana have got a big relief. The state government has decided to prepare a new scheme for the general public. Under which about 50 thousand houses will be built in the periphery of the boundary of municipal bodies.

Under this scheme, all such people who travel daily from far off places to their work sites. This house will be given to them on free hold or leasehold basis. This plan will be prepared with buyback option. In which the owner will have the option to sell the house back to the government at any time. This decision was taken in the review meeting of Housing for All Department chaired by Chief Minister Manohar Lal here. The Chief Minister said that all such persons who have to travel many kilometers to reach their work place. Realizing their problems, orders have been given to prepare this plan. The objective of the scheme is to provide housing facilities to all such people. With the construction of these houses, they will get accommodation facility to live around their work area.

To promote industries in the state, it has been decided to allow 10% FAR for housing on industrial plots for entrepreneurs to set up industries. So that entrepreneurs can arrange housing facilities for their workers within the industry premises. Furthermore, a similar provision will be made for industrial plots located in the Industrial Estate of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC). In addition, HSIIDC will build houses for industrial units, which will be given to entrepreneurs on rent basis, so that entrepreneurs can manage to keep their workers in these houses.
