Chandigarh: Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij has been shifted to ICU at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. Vij was found corona infected on December 5. While giving information on Tuesday, Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Haryana said that Anil Vij is now getting less oxygen requirement than before. His CT chest and blood tests have also improved.

It is noteworthy that in the media bulletin released on Monday, the Medical Superintendent of Medanta Hospital had informed that Home Minister Anil Vij is now healthy and his health is improving. Their oxygen requirement has reduced now. They are still stable. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal met state Health Minister Anil Vij on Saturday at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.

Earlier, on 15 December, Corona positive Haryana Health and Home Minister Anil Vij was referred to Medanta from PGIMS Rohtak. Despite having been given plasma and other medicines two times, he had an infection in his lungs. The family members expressed dissatisfaction with the treatment of the institute and asked to be taken to a private hospital for better treatment. However, the PGIMS administration claimed to provide better treatment.
