Indore: A shocking incident has come to light in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. In this, a married woman has filed a case against her own husband under sections of assault and dowry harassment. She has alleged that her husband used to forcibly feed her non-veg, while when she protested, he not only starve her but also beat her badly for the same thing. Indore police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint of the victim and started investigating the matter.

In her complaint to the police, the victim said she was married to Ankit Fatehpuria, a resident of Jaipur, on March 5, 2016. At the time of marriage, her father had spent about Rs 1 crore and gave them gold, silver ornaments, and other items besides cash, etc. Even after this, the demand of the criminal husband and his family did not decrease. After two months of marriage, the criminal husband started demanding one crore rupees as dowry. At the same time, in the event of not paying such a huge amount, he started torturing her again and again. The victim said that in this sequence when the criminal took her to the hotel, he used to pressure her to eat non-veg. When she refused, the criminal returned without eating, and after coming home, he used to beat her badly.

In her complaint to the police, the victim said that at the time of marriage, her family had given a dowry of about Rs 1 crore, including gold, silver, and jewelry. Even after this, Once again Ankit has started demanding one crore rupees. Since his father is expressing his inability to pay such a huge amount again, the criminal is torturing her on small things. The victim said that one of her aunts lives in Jaipur itself. She urged the criminal husband several times to go to the aunt's house or meet her, but the criminal started assaulting her every time he heard the aunt's name. Disturbed by these daily tortures, she has run away from her in-laws' house and come to her maternal home. The victim said that in view of her problems, the family tried to reconcile several times, and the criminal husband was called to his house and brought here to Jaipur and explained a lot. After that, for a few days, everything was fine in the in-laws' house. But after a few days, the harassment by the criminal and his family started again. In such a situation, it was difficult to stay further in the in-laws' house.
