New Delhi: Violence has erupted once again between protesters who support and oppose CAA. Protesters set fire to several vehicles in the midst of violence in several areas of East Delhi. At the same time, a head constable also died during stone-pelting in Gokulpuri. According to Delhi Police sources, SP's reader Ratan Lal has died in stone-pelting. Shahdara's DCP Amit Sharma has also been injured. Section 144 was implemented in 10 areas in Delhi. The Lieutenant Governor and CM of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal have appealed to the people for peace.

Meanwhile, 4 FIRs have been registered against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the violence on Sunday in the North East area of Delhi. Out of these 4 cases, 2 cases have come out from Zafarabad and Maujpur, while an FIR has been registered in 2 cases of Dayalpur. Explain that a total of 11 people, including 10 policemen and 1 general public, were injured in the violence against the 'Citizenship Amendment Act'. 2 auto-rickshaws, 3 bikes, and 5 vehicles were also targeted in the violence. Meanwhile, a video of a man firing in Maujpur area has emerged.

Supporters and opponents of 'CAA' came face-to-face on the same road in Jaffarabad, Maujpur, Delhi on Sunday. Both groups also got heavily attacked by stone-pelting near the Maujpur metro station. Then the police controlled the situation by firing tear gas shells.
