Jaipur: In Rajasthan, farmers got relief as the rain started after a long wait. According to the Met Department, the state has recorded more than 19 per cent rainfall so far in 2019.

Remarkably, the monsoon in the state this year knocked on July 2. But from July 2 to July 24, the monsoon remained completely weak. During this period, the state recorded less than 40 per cent of the normal rainfall. But the rain continued after July 25. During this period, the state recorded more than 19 per cent of the normal rainfall.

According to the Meteorological Department, Rajasthan has recorded 309.8 mm of rain so far. That's 19 per cent higher than normal. In eastern Rajasthan, 484.3 mm of rain has been recorded so far. That's more than 30 percent from normal. But the western region of the province has been eagerly awaiting the rain so far. The Met department has said that Rajasthan is likely to receive good rainfall in the coming days.
