Delhi woke up to heavy rains this morning, leading to severe waterlogging and significant traffic disruptions across various parts of the city. Commuters and school children faced difficulties as they tried to navigate through waterlogged roads, with some areas like Baprola and Najafgarh Road being particularly affected.

Vehicles on Aurobindo Marg were seen moving at a snail's pace due to flooded stretches, causing frustration among daily commuters. The Delhi Traffic Police issued an advisory, warning of further delays on Ring Road due to a truck breakdown at the Moolchand Underpass, affecting the traffic flow between South Extension and Lajpat Nagar.

Earlier, weather reports had predicted light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), including areas like Dadri, Greater Noida, Gurugram, and Faridabad.

As the rain continues, commuters are advised to plan their journeys carefully to avoid traffic bottlenecks and waterlogged streets.
