High Court withdraws verdict after protests as court hears both virtual-physical modes

Lucknow: The Allahabad High Court has withdrawn its decision to conduct only virtual hearings (Virtual Hearing) in the court. Physical arguments with virtuals have also been approved in court from January 4. The chief justice has withdrawn the order in view of opposition from high court lawyers. The system will now change from January 4 and the court will be able to hear both virtual and physical modes.

In fact, in view of the increasing cases of corona virus, after the Supreme Court, Delhi and the Gujarat High Court, it was now decided to hear the Allahabad High Court in virtual mode from January 3. However, the decision has been withdrawn after high court lawyers protested. In view of the corona infection, the administrative committee of judges decided to hear in a virtual manner.

Under this, online (virtual) hearing of cases was scheduled to be held in allahabad high court and its Lucknow bench from January 3 today. Now the restrictions on physical hearings have been lifted. Earlier also, during the first and second wave of corona, cases were heard in the Allahabad High Court and Lucknow Bench in virtual mode.
