Former first lady of the US Hillary Clinton, who is on a three-day visit to Madhya Pradesh, landed at the Indore airport on Sunday night by a special plane after which she went Maheshwar by road.

This is said to be her personal visit to India.

The Madhya Pradesh government welcomed Hillary in a traditional way and also gave her state guest status.

Along with Hillary, four of his friends have also come to visit India, two of which are two men and two are women.

Hillary was halted at Ahilya Fort, Maheshwar, where descendants of Ahilya Devi Holkar, Shivajirao Holkar and Yuvraj Yashwant Holkar welcomed her.

For Hillary, special arrangements have been made for the flowers of Champa, Bulbul and Kanchan in Ahilya Fort. Not only this, the special menu has been made for Hilary's food. It includes chapatti and jackfruit biryani, Nepal style staple potato peas, Anaradane raita, Mix Indian Kachumbar salad and aamras etc.

From here, Hillary will visit Mandav, and then in the afternoon, she will visit Ahilya Bai's throne.

Even before Hillary reached India, a 16-member US team had reached India due to security arrangements, who had examined her dining room in Ahilya Fort. She would leave for Jodhpur on Tuesday morning, according to official sources.
