Shimla: Two buses of tourists overturned at Chandigarh Manali National Highway in Himachal Pradesh in the morning. One tourist was killed while 14 others are said to be injured in the accident. The accident took place at Gara Bend in Swarghat in the Himachal Punjab border Bilaspur district. Swarghat police have reached the spot following the news. The injured have been rushed to Nalagarh Hospital for treatment.

According to the news, two tourist buses overturned on Sunday morning at Gara Moda in Swarghat. Bus number PB01A 9912 was carrying 45 people. This bus was going from Manali to Amritsar. When this bus reached Garamouda near Swarghat, suddenly losing control overturned on the road. Many people got injured due to this. It is being said that a 20 to a 25-year-old girl was talking on her mobile phone on the roadside after the bus of this Punjab number overturned, at the same time another tourist bus number DL1PD 0404 coming from behind at high speed was also controlled. 

The girl talking on the mobile after being hit by a Delhi bus is reported to have died on the spot, while 4 to 5 people are said to be injured. The injured have been taken to the nearby hospital FRU Nalagarh and Punjab hospital with the help of 108 ambulances. About 45 people were sitting in this bus too. This Delhi number bus was returning from Manali to Delhi. However, no one was injured in this bus. Relief and rescue operations are being carried out by the police under the leadership of Swarghat police station in-charge Balbir Singh.
