Shimla: The education sector has been in crisis amid the lockdown implemented all over the world due to Coronavirus. Due to which many schools and universities have been closed. Children are not able to go to school. Keeping this in mind, the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board is also preparing to promote students of fifth and eighth grade for the next class. The board is in favor of not taking the Hindi subject paper of class five again.

According to the information received, the board officials will meet on Tuesday and send this proposal to the state government for approval. Discussion will also be held on the evaluation of the remaining examinations and papers of the two classes submitted in the meeting.

The state government has earlier promoted the students of first to fourth, sixth, seventh, ninth and deposited one classes for the next class. Chairman of the board Dr. Suresh Kumar Soni said that a meeting will be held in Dharamshala on Tuesday. Five members will participate in this meeting. After the lockdown is removed in the meeting, the decisions of the Board on paper evaluation and examinations will be discussed.
