Due to heavy rains in Kullu city on Thursday night, about 12 roads have been blocked due to landslide, debris and stones falling.

Kullu-Manali along the connectivity routes of the city and Manali-Leh road along Vamtat also have a fall of debris and stones. Rain is considered suitable for pea, maize and pulses crops.

On the other hand, the old building of Government Primary Kendriya Vidyalaya Khuddi has been damaged due to the heavy rainfall in Mandi city. Now the new building is also under threat. Although the school is closed. The routes via Bakarkhad has also been blocked. A yellow alert has been issued on August 9 in the state. The rainy season is expected to continue throughout the state till August 13.
