Ahmedabad: On September 15, the last day of the auspicious month of Shravan (as per Gujarati tradition, Saavan starts 15 days later), a brutal attack on a wedding procession of Lord Shiva took place in Thasra area of Kheda district of Gujarat. According to reports, stones were pelted from a madrasa when Hindu devotees were taking out a procession from the area. Vijaydasji Maharaj, organizer of the "Shivji Ki Sawaari" yatra, said the attack appeared to be pre-planned.

It is being told that the incident happened around 3 pm. Police reached the spot and controlled the situation. According to preliminary details, a procession of Lord Shiva takes place every year in Thasara on the last day of the month of Shravan. This year too, the procession started today at around 1 pm as per the schedule. A large number of participants participated in the program. When the procession reached the city square around 3 pm, stones were thrown at Hindu devotees from a nearby madrasa/mosque. The Hindus participating in the processions were forced to leave the march midway and run away to save their lives. A stampede-like situation arose and many people started running here and there to take shelter. Three police officers including two officers and a PSI were injured in this incident. However, it is unknown whether any devotee was injured.

Organizer of the yatra, Mahant Vijaydasji expressed concern and said that the attack was pre-planned. However, no accused had been arrested till the time of publishing the news. Police said that they are currently investigating the matter further. According to Kheda district police chief Rajesh Gadhiya, when the yatra was about to end, unidentified people threw bricks and stones, injuring several people, including three police officers. He said adequate police force has been deployed in the area and additional officers have been called from neighboring divisions.

According to Rajesh Gadhiya, the situation has been brought under control and police deployment has been increased in communally sensitive areas. He further said that any anti-social element involved in this act will not be spared. At present the accused is being searched.

Trend of stone pelting on Hindu festivals in Kheda, Gujarat:-

Let us tell you that Kheda is the same area where Navratri festival turned violent last year when a Muslim mob led by two youths named Arif and Zaheer pelted stones at Hindu devotees. Reports said that Arif and Zaheer had led a mob that created a ruckus during Navratri celebrations. The village leaders tried to maintain peace, but the mob did not back down. They returned and started pelting stones. Local residents of the village said that they (Muslim mob) asked to stop Navratri celebrations in the area and said that Navratri cannot be celebrated there.

Earlier, it was reported how a Muslim teacher in Kheda had asked students to beat their chests and chant 'Ya Hussain' in Muharram-style mourning instead of performing Garba during Navratri celebrations. There have also been reports where Muslim men have tried to enter Navratri sites under fake names. There have also been reports where local Muslims in some areas have protested against celebrating Navratri.

Same pattern in Nuh violence:-

Let us tell you that a similar incident of brutal stone pelting took place in July this year at the Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Shobha Yatra of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Nuh, a Muslim dominated area of Mewat, Haryana. Several videos of the clashes had surfaced, showing mobs attacking devotees in a hostile manner, chanting "Allahu Akbar" and engaging in riotous activities. A mob in Haryana's Nuh district tried to stop a Hindu religious procession on Shravan Monday, pelting stones and setting cars on fire, resulting in a home guard being shot dead and about a dozen policemen injured.

As soon as the religious procession was attacked in Nuh, Haryana, the victims themselves revealed to the media that stones were pelted at them from rooftops, young Muslim boys and men had gone to the hilly area and were firing at them. Stones, acid bottles were thrown at them and many women were harassed. During the violence, many women and children (numbering between 2000-2500) took shelter in the temple and were rescued by the police after a few hours.

Besides this, there were other people who were brutally murdered by the Muslim mob. According to a report, Abhishek, a Hindu devotee, was first shot by the fundamentalists, then his throat was slit and if that was not enough, his head was crushed with a big stone by the angry Muslim mob. Some such videos and social media posts had also come to light, which showed that the radicals were planning this attack at least 2 days before the procession. Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar had also confirmed that the violence was indeed pre-planned and appears to be part of a larger conspiracy.

Bengal Ramnavami procession attacked with same trend:

Let us tell you that in April this year, the procession taken out on Ramnavmi festival was also attacked in a similar manner. Stones and bottles were thrown from the rooftops at the devotees who were taking out the procession on the route fixed by the Bengal Police. After this attack, a 6-member team of human rights organization led by former Chief Justice of Patna High Court Narasimha Reddy had reached Bengal to find out the truth of the violence, but Mamata Banerjee's police did not allow them to go to the riot-affected area. After which the fact finding team asked the riot victims themselves to come forward and present their views and prepared a report on that basis.

It was said in the report that the violence on Ram Navami in Bengal was well-planned. For this, people were deliberately provoked and riots were created. While hearing this case, the Kolkata High Court had said, "Reports show that preparations for violence had already been made." It is alleged that people had thrown stones from the rooftops. Obviously the stones cannot be brought to the roof within 10-15 minutes. This is a failure of the intelligence system.'' The Kolkata High Court judge had also said, 'In the last 4-5 months, the High Court has sent 8 orders to the Bengal government. All these cases are related to violence during religious events. Doesn't this indicate something else? I have been a judge for the last 14 years. But I have never seen anything like this in my entire career. After the violence, the devotees who were attacked were accused of raising objectionable slogans. They had entered Muslim areas, which led to violence. However, the route was decided by the Bengal Police itself, and what were the objectionable slogans that enraged the people, the Bengal Police has not been able to tell in the court. It is possible that the slogan of 'Jai Shri Ram' itself has been considered objectionable, because many times CM Mamata herself has left the stage after hearing this slogan and it is natural to raise this slogan in the Ram Navami procession.

Tahir Hussain's confession in Delhi riots:-

Let us tell you that there was major violence in Delhi in 2020, that too at the time when the then US President Donald Trump was visiting India. Communal clashes broke out on February 24 following violence between supporters and opponents of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in north-east Delhi, in which 53 people lost their lives and around 200 were injured. Union Minister Anurag Thakur and BJP leader Kapil Mishra were accused of this violence. However, when the case reached the court and the evidence and facts were examined, a different story emerged. The then Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councilor Tahir Hussain turned out to be the mastermind of this entire incident and it was not just a riot or violence, but a planned attack on Hindus. However, at that time some leftist media channels tried their best to prove Tahir Hussain as the victim. The name of alleged fact checker Mohammad Zubair is also included in this. Zubair had fact checked that Tahir Hussain was the victim and it was he who had called the police and sought protection. When the case was heard by Sessions Judge Pulatsya of Karkardooma Court, charges were framed against Tahir Hussain along with Riyasat Ali, Gulfam, Shah Alam, Rashid Shafi, Arshad Qayyum, Liaqat Ali, Mohammad Shadab, Mohammad Abid and Irshad Ahmed.

After looking at all the evidence and facts, a Delhi court had said, 'The indiscriminate firing on others shows that this mob deliberately wanted to kill Hindus. It cannot be said that the accused person was unaware of the motive of this crowd. It is clear that this was an illegal assembly, which was working for the same purpose (killing Hindus). The judge had said, 'The above circumstances nowhere indicate that this (violence) was a sudden act, rather it clearly reveals that the accused Tahir Hussain was involved in vandalizing the properties of the Hindu community from building E-17. And was used to commit arson. Elaborate preparations were made to fulfill this objective.

These are some of the main cases, apart from these, many other parts of the country like Jahangirpuri in Delhi, Vadodara in Gujarat, Bagaha and Motihari in Bihar, Jamshedpur, Lohardaga and East Singhbhum in Jharkhand, Khargone and Sendhwa in Madhya Pradesh, Kolar in Karnataka, Karauli in Rajasthan. In the same pattern, stone pelting and attacks have taken place on Hindu festivals. Now it has become so common that even the mainstream media does not pay much attention to it. Now there is a fear in the mind of the media that if they show such news, they might be declared hate mongers and 'boycotted'. Perhaps that is why a journalist, on the killing of photojournalist Danish Siddiqui by terrorists, had only 'damned the bullets' which took Danish's life, but had not said a word on Taliban terrorists.
