Hyderabad : Based on a tip-off, the West Zone Task Force on Thursday raided a residence in Rahmath Nagar, Jubilee Hills, and arrested two persons named Narsingh and R Ramesh for selling ganja and seized the entire stock of ganja. He had bought it from the people of Sileru area of ​​Visakhapatnam. Officials said he was arrested under relevant sections of the NDPS Act and sent to judicial custody.

In another raid, the North Zone Task Force arrested two people for illegally selling ganja and seized two kg of ganja. They were Kishore Singh and Mohammad Firoz. Singh is a Ganesh idol maker in Dhulpet and has been arrested 11 times under the NDPS Act. But he commits the same crime. He was also taken into custody under the PD Act but still there was no change in his behavior. The vehicle thief came in contact with the juvenile in Firoz Jail. After their release, the two decided to sell hemp to needy customers.

In the third incident, the South Zone Task Force arrested three persons for buying and selling Nitravate and Alpracard tablets without receipt. A total of 405 bullets were recovered from Masood Ali, Syed Mohammad and Arun Karwa. Ali, who has been working in the pharma sector for 15 years, knew that he would opt for these pills if hemp addicts did not buy it due to regular police raids. Though the pills should not be sold without a doctor's prescription, the accused along with two others planned to buy them and sell them to drug addicts, who were unable to find ganja in the city due to regular raids.
