HYDERABAD: The Health Department has launched eight diagnostic mini-hubs on Friday, where basic diagnostic facilities will be provided free of charge. Important diagnostic services such as ultrasonography (USG), X-ray, ECG etc are now free of charge in a government-owned healthcare company.

These eight mini-hubs are connected to 50 Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHC) and 36 residential claim houses in Hyderabad. Eight diagnostic mini-hubs have been established at Urban Community Health Centre (UCHC) in Lalpet, Sriram Nagar, Barkas, Panipura, Puranpul, Amberpet, Jungmet and Sitafal Mandi.

Let us know that patients who go to UPHC and Basti Dakhanas will be admitted first and then the scheduled time and date will be given to the ECG, USG, X-ray and other radiology services at the mini hub.

In addition to the mini-hub to address the difficulties faced in free clinical trials, the health department has re-established a headquarters in the Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM) in 2018, initially connected to 126 small health centers and then increased to 319. Since 2018, the headquarters at IPM has served over 1 million patients.

Prior to the inauguration, health officials have been dry-running in eight clinical mini-hubs since December 10, 2020 and have already conducted 2,000 clinical trials, including USG, X-ray and ECG.
