Seoul: Hyundai, a South Korean automaker, recently unveiled a rendering of its EXTER micro-SUV. It will go into production in July, and by August it should be available in India.

The vehicle will look like an IONIQ 5 and be built on the same platform as the Grand i10 NIOS. A cabin with plenty of technology should be added. What to anticipate from the upcoming car is listed below.

In India, the compact SUV market has become incredibly popular, and Hyundai wants to cash in on this trend. Not only will the brand-new EXTER be produced for our country, but it will also be exported from this location to other countries.

The four-wheeler will compete with models like the Citroen C3, Tata Punch, and Maruti Suzuki Ignis on our soil.

A sculpted bonnet, split-style headlights with H-shaped LED DRLs, and a blacked-out grille spanning the width of the bumper are all features of the Hyundai EXTER. Additionally, a faux silvered skid plate will be present. Roof rails, ORVMs, flared wheel arches, and fashionable rims will be on either side of it. At the back, there should be a light bar connecting square taillamps.

A 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine and an 83-horsepower 1.2-liter petrol engine will power the Hyundai EXTER. Depending on the model, the gearbox will be either a 5-speed manual or an AMT. Later, a CNG version ought to be added.
