Panaji: Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has hit out at the BJP during her visit to Goa, rejecting the allegations of parties like Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that TMC want to divide the anti-BJP vote bank. Mamata Banerjee bluntly said that she has not come to Goa to share the vote but has come to unite the vote against the BJP.

CM Mamata Banerjee said, 'We will win the upcoming assembly elections. If anyone wants to defeat the BJP, it is up to them to support us.' The TMC supremo said, 'There is no high command culture in the Trinamool Congress. Our rule will be led by the leaders of Goa and we will encourage the Goa model of development.' He said, 'I have a plan for Goa like I had a plan for West Bengal; I work for all religions and castes.'

Mamata Banerjee further said, 'No one in Goa does anything. Just posted on Facebook. The BJP's TRP has increased. You can fight against us. So why can't we fight in Goa? You're not forbidden. Will work together. Won't compromise half with the BJP. 100 per cent will fight and 100 per cent will win,' Mamata said, saying Goa is famous for football. Bengal football players will also come to Goa.'
