'I have been working hard in the nets' Hardik Pandya post win against Delhi Capitals

Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday beat  the Delhi Capitals (DC) by 40 runs at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. MI all-rounder Hardik Pandya helped the team to post a total of 168/5 in front of the home side. Hardik was awarded Man of the match for his match-defining inning. Hardik said that he thinks he is hitting the ball better than ever and working hard in the nets has paid off as well.

In the post-match presentation, “Even I was telling myself that I don't think I've ever hit the ball better. I have been working hard in the nets and it has been coming off well for me. I like to keep the basics straight, even in the death if you keep your shape and hope for bowlers to miss, you can hit hard. I am using my brain well, reading the wicket well in this season.

Pandya has scored 218 runs in 9 innings and has claimed 8 wickets in 9 matches. Hardik is the third-highest run-scorer and third player with the most number of wickets to his name for his franchise. Hardik also played match-winning knocks for his side in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing edition of IPL.
