Rohit Sharma led team India won the Asia Cup on Friday by defeating Bangladesh in a very close and interesting game. This victory proved beneficial for India as well Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Kuldeep Yadav in ICC ODI ranking.

Rohit Sharma has performed very well in the Asia cup due to which he jumped two places to second in the ICC's batting ranks whereas Skipper Virat Kohli has remained at No. 1. There is a difference of 42 rating points between Virat and Rohit. Virat top the list with 884 points whereas Rohit is second with 842 points. This is not the first time when Rohit has reached second place in the rankings earlier also he reached to second place in July this year. Shikhar Dhawan has also reached to the number 5 with 802 points.

India beat Bangladesh to lift 7th Asia Cup title

As far as bowling department is concerned, Pacer Jaspreet Bumrah got succeed keeping number one place in the latest one-day racking. Young spinner Kuldeep Yadav also jumped to three places to gain third place in the list. Yuzevendra Chahal has lost two places he is now slipped to 11th place.

Rashid khan of Afghanistan has made a jump of six places to become number 1 all-rounder.  

 India got one point from this tournament, although it is continues to remain at the second place after England.
