During a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, Idris Elba described delivering a DJ set at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding as his "most stressful" experience compared to all previous high-profile visitors he has performed for, including Madonna. The 49-year-old actor revealed that the royal wedding was not like any regular "community hall" event, and that it caused him concern.

As he spoke about playing at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding, the actor took a trip down memory lane, telling Jimmy, "It wasn't the same as my cousin's wedding. It wasn't the same as my cousin's wedding." Idris said that he felt extra pressure since he is close to Prince Harry and Meghan, and he wanted to make sure they had a wonderful time. The Duchess of Sussex had even sent him a playlist, according to the actor.

Idris also discussed his cooperation with Paul McCartney during the same interview. The actor discussed how he won a position on The Beatles alum's new album and how his BBC interview with McCartney helped him win the gig. Elba recalled Paul stating, "When Paul talked about his next album featuring remixes, he remarked, " "Allow me to make one," McCartney agreed, saying, "Sure." Give it a go."

Following the release of Daniel Craig's final 007 adventure, No Time To Die, Elba's name surfaced as a possible James Bond replacement. However, Elba dismissed the rumours, claiming that he has not been cast as Bond.
