The havoc of Omicron is now increasing and in the midst of increasing cases, the central governments have issued new orders to the states. In fact, recently the Center has said that those who have cough, sore throat and fever should be considered corona suspects and should be tested for corona. Yes, recently the central government has directed the states and said that anyone with cough, headache, sore throat, breathlessness, body ache, loss of taste, fatigue and diarrhea with/without fever should be considered a suspected case of COVID-19, unless proved otherwise. In fact, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan and ICMR DG Dr. Balram Bhargava have written letters to the Chief Secretaries of all the states/UTs and these instructions have been given in this letter.
Let us tell you that in this instructions have also been given for setting up of functional RAT booths at various places, involving medical and paramedical staff and use of home testing kits. By the way, the central government has given these instructions to the states at a time when the cases of Omicron are becoming out of control in the country. Let us tell you that the total number of Omicron cases in the country has increased to more than 1270. Talking about Maharashtra and Delhi, Omicron has the highest number of 450 and 320 cases here. At the same time, 44 new cases of Omicron have been reported in Kerala, after which the total figure of new variants of corona in the state has reached 107.
With this, 23 new cases of Omicron have been reported in Karnataka. Here State Health Minister Dr Sudhakar informed that out of 23 new cases reported, 19 are international travelers from USA, Europe, Middle East and Africa. On the other hand, official sources say that the Omicron variant of Coronavirus has started replacing the Delta variant in India.
