The whole world is engaged in a war level to find the medicine of Coronavirus. Scientists are doing research all over the world to beat the virus. Meanwhile, researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT G) have developed a cost-effective disinfection system based on UVC LEDs to prevent the growing infection of the coronavirus in India. Researchers said that this system can eradicate the virus in just 30 seconds. It can also meet the needs of personal protective equipment (PPE). It will mainly be used to disinfect quarantine centers and isolation wards.

Its construction material also has a waterproof capability, ie it is waterproof. To prepare this, Professor TG Sitaram, Director, IIT Guwahati, has formed a research team under the leadership of Senthilmurugan Subbiah, Department of Chemical Engineering along with two private companies. Senthilmurugan Subbaiah said, 'IIT Guwahati is working with government and private agencies and institutions on affordable technology to fight Corona's war.' According to the institute, the UVC system is a proven technique to clean microorganism infected surface. In this project, the team has developed a UVC-LED system, which can sanitize the virus-infected surface in 30 seconds. This wiper shaped system is capable of completely sanitizing the surface without holes.

In their statement, the researchers further said that by improving this technology, we are now trying to increase its ability to kill hidden viruses on the porous surface. For this, we are using 'ozone system', which can also sanitize the porous surface in an integrated manner. He said that this system is equipped with an object movement identification feature to avoid UVC exposure to human skin during operation.
