IIT Guwahati Launches Drone Pilot Training Organization: IIT Guwahati has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative by teaming up with EduRade, a brand affiliated with RC HobbyTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd and nurtured at IIT Guwahati Research Park. Together, they've inaugurated a Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO), aimed at advancing drone technology across India.

Spread across a vast 18 acres, the RPTO boasts the ability to operate nine medium-class drones concurrently, making it the largest of its kind in the nation. This move underscores IIT Guwahati's commitment to fostering innovation and addressing the escalating demand for skilled drone pilots.

The primary goal of the RPTO is to catalyze the adoption of drone technology nationwide while catering to the surging need for trained drone pilots. This initiative aligns seamlessly with the government's ambitious 'Namo Drone Didi' campaign, which aims to position India as a global leader in drone technology.

With its state-of-the-art facilities and expert-led training programs, the RPTO at IIT Guwahati is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of drone technology in India.
