Bangalore: Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials are raiding properties belonging to Karnataka Congress MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan here. Official sources have given information in this regard on Thursday. He said that the simultaneous raids at about six places on the houses and their offices associated with the MLA of Chamrajpet started at six in the morning.

Giving information, sources said that other properties include his house and other businesses including national travel offices in the city. A four-time MLA, Khan was earlier with the JDS and is now with the Congress. These raids have been done in the multi-crore IMA Ponzi scam case. Let us tell you that this is the first time that this action has been taken after his name surfaced in the scam in July 2019 in the premises of four-time MLA from Chamrajpet, Zameer Ahmed Khan. He had also told in the property declaration form submitted to the Election Commission that he had taken a loan from IMA and its founder.

Let us inform that along with Zameer Ahmed Khan, Raids have also been conducted at former minister Roshan Baig's house and office. In this case, a charge sheet has been filed against Baig on behalf of the CBI, he has been arrested and bail has also been given.
