The corona is spreading rapidly in Madhya Pradesh. The number of patients is increasing day by day. The situation is becoming worrisome due to the epidemic in the state. The infection has spread to 50 out of 52 districts. Till Saturday morning, 6170 infected patients have been confirmed in the state. These include 2850 patients from Indore, 1153 patients from Bhopal and 504 patients from Ujjain. 272 have died. 3089 patients have gone home after getting healthy. 2809 patients are being treated in various hospitals of the state.

On the other hand, preparations for Eid are going on in the entire state. Eid can be celebrated on Sunday or Monday. Administration is on full alert. Kazis across the state have asked people to offer Eid prayers in their homes. Mubarakabad has appealed to be given from far away. The police and administration have given instructions to take extra vigilance in Muslim-dominated areas to follow social distancing. Police will keep a watch on drones in dense settlements on Eid.

However, this is happening for the first time when there is silence in the markets of Red Zone districts due to the lockdown. In Bhopal, markets that are open 24 hours during Eid are seen empty. People are happy with the opening of servants and sweets shops.
