Amritsar: The electoral state of Punjab witnessed a major reversal on Tuesday. Here in the morning, Sufi singer Buta Mohammad joined the BJP in the presence of Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Ludhiana and a few hours later Buta Mohammad was spotted at the chandigarh residence of former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and after some time it was reported that Buta Mohammad had taken over the reins of the Captain's party Punjab Lok Congress.

Going with the BJP in the morning and the Punjab Lok Congress a few hours later not only created confusion but also created controversy. Buta Singh later said that she has not joined the Punjab Lok Congress, but her friend Sardar Ali has joined the party and had reached there with his friend. But, interestingly, the Punjab Lok Congress had shared pictures of Captain and Buta Mohammad, in which Buta Mohammad was seen wearing a party muffler. Not only that, the Punjab Lok Congress had also said that Buta Mohammad along with Sardar Ali suppressed the party. Sardar Ali also said that he is going to punjab lok congress in the hope that the party will work for the betterment of singers.

Tell me that Buta Mohammad comes from the family of Sufi singers. His father late Sardar Mohammad was a famous singer and musician. Buta has learnt music from her father and uncle. His brother is also a singer. Buta Mohammad has sung famous songs like Dillagi, Jhanjran, Gabru De Modia, Hai Meri Jaan and Maa Diyan Duawan. His first song was launched in 1996, a Sufi song.
