Bhopal: It is freezing cold all over North India including Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, the havoc of cold continues in the entire Mahakaushal region including Jabalpur. The minimum temperature recorded in Jabalpur last night was 5.2 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature in the state was recorded in Naugaon at 1.3 degrees Celsius. The entire state is still in the grip of cold wave. The minimum temperature in the capital Bhopal was recorded at 5.8 degree Celsius. Due to the northerly winds, the effect of severe cold to continue in the next few days has been expressed by the state Meteorological Department. Due to the possibility of rain and snowfall on the same mountains, IMD has expressed the possibility of coldest for the next two-three days.

Also alerted that from 25 December to 27 December it may change. And rain is forecast in some cities. On Tuesday, the whole of North India including UP is in the grip of severe winter. In many states, the mercury has dropped due to the cold wave. The minimum temperature in the cities of Delhi-NCR and western Uttar Pradesh has reached around two degrees. In UP, in the last 24 hours, more than 10 districts recorded a minimum temperature of less than five degrees Celsius. According to IMD, Muzaffarnagar was the coldest district in Uttar Pradesh. The minimum temperature here was 2.2 degree Celsius. Lucknow recorded a minimum temperature of 5.3 degrees Celsius. This was the lowest temperature of the season so far in Lucknow. According to the Meteorological Department, such conditions will remain for two days now. The temperature will drop. The Lucknow center of the Meteorological Department collects records from 32 centers in the state. The minimum temperature at all these places last night was below 9 degree Celsius.

It is a cold winter in western UP. Muzaffarnagar recorded a minimum temperature of 2.2 degrees Celsius and Meerut recorded 2.8 degrees Celsius. Fursatganj, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur and Najibabad recorded a minimum temperature of 4 degrees Celsius. It is freezing cold in North India including Delhi. The period of decrease in minimum temperature continues. People are resorting to bonfire to escape the severe cold, while at many places the administration is also providing facilities like bonfire, night shelter etc. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature in the national capital Delhi is expected to be 5 degree Celsius on Wednesday, while the maximum temperature may remain 24 degree Celsius. There is a possibility of fog in Punjab-Haryana. The mercury is falling day by day in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir etc. Talking about the cities of Rajasthan, the minimum temperature can go up to 10 degrees in Jaipur.
