The Sri Lanka Premier League (SLPL) T20 tournament is scheduled to be held this year. Yes, it is going to be held between 14 November to 6 December this year. According to the information received, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) itself has disclosed this. Actually SLPL was scheduled to be held between 28 August to 20 September, but it could not happen due to covid-19 epidemic and it was postponed.

Now SLC has said in a statement, 'Sri Lankan cricket expects the much awaited Sri Lanka Premier League T20 cricket tournament to begin in November.' Actually, this tournament is going to be held in three international venues, Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium, Pallekal International Cricket Stadium and Suriaweva Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium. Let us also tell you that five teams are ready to participate in this 15-day tournament.
There are a total of 23 matches to be played in this tournament. Now talk about the five teams, they are going to be in Colombo, Kandy, Gaul, Dambulla and Jaffna districts. Apart from this, let us also tell you that the Indian Premier League is going to start in the UAE soon. Although this year it was going to be held in India only in March but it could not happen due to Coronavirus. At the same time, this league is going to be held in the UAE.
