New Delhi: India's bowler delivered spectacular performance in the first match of the T20 series against West Indies. All the bowlers, especially Navdeep Saini, who playing his first international match, bowled brilliantly and chewed up the West Indies by taking two consecutive wickets after eating a six in their first over. Navdeep Saini took a total of 3 wickets in the match. However, he recorded a new record throwing the last over of the innings.
Navdeep Saini threw the last over of the innings for Team India. Kieron Pollard, who was batting in front of him, he looked helpless and did not score a single run in this over. Pollard was bowled out by Saini on the third ball of the over. He managed to score 49 runs in 49 balls. More importantly, Navdeep is India's first player to throw the last over of the innings in the T20 cricket. Only 3 players have done so before in the world. They include New Zealand's Jeetan Patel, Pakistan's Mohammed Amir and Singapore's Janak Prakash.
